Connecting cables

Solifos rolls field cables onto sturdy field cable drums and then fits them with cable plugs. That way, you receive complete drum-mounted cable sets. Note the extensive range of accessories and the wide range of cable plugs for use with field cables. We will be happy to offer advice.

Adapter cables

Adapter cables essentially constitute the transition between different types of plug. They can often provide a connection between the outer world and the standard fiber optic world. In many cases, this means a transition from extremely robust, watertight and dustproof plug connections to standard connectors such as LC, SC, ST, FC or E2000x, which can be found on standard off-the-shelf IT devices. These fiber optic connectors must be used in a protected environment, whereas the robust device connectors are fitted in the exterior bodywork of a vehicle or shelter (e.g. a 20-foot office container).
